Editing instructions
This model is suitable for further finishing by the model builder.
To sand:
– Use fine sandpaper (grit 400–800) to smooth out any print lines or imperfections.
– Work carefully in small strokes, especially around details.
Primers and Paints:
– Apply a plastic primer for better adhesion (e.g. Tamiya or Vallejo).
– After drying, the model can be finished with acrylic paint or model varnish.
– Multiple thin layers give the best results.
Gluing:
– Use super glue (cyanoacrylate) for strong, fast adhesion.
– Apply sparingly to avoid staining.
Maintenance instructions
Maintenance instructions
To keep your model in top condition during long-term display:
– Avoid direct sunlight: PLA may deform over time when heated (> 60 °C).
– Keep dust free: Use a soft brush or compressed air to carefully remove dust.
– Do not clean with water: Moisture can damage paint or adhesive layers.
– When moving: Always lift the model by the sturdy parts; avoid pressure on thin or delicate parts.
For long-term presentation, we recommend a closed display case to limit dust and temperature fluctuations.
